ahh, Monday brunch (a luxury that can be had when you're self-employed) with my dear old friend visiting from NYC, Alex Hudson. we both ordered bagels and lox (those who know me well know of my obsession with lox), he, a legit jew and me, a wannabe. then we sauntered through the neighborhood as we walked back to my place, (gasp), yes, you can walk some places in LA! saw an old van that hadn't been driven in a while so i checked for dead bodies.... kate, don't bite your nails!

monday schlubby pirate/sailor outfit: t-shirt and shorts both stolen/borrowed from my sister, i think they're from urban, converse "the doors" high-tops, squiggle bangles, twig bangles, nuts sporadic etc. chain and nuts 4 bows sporadic etc. chain as bracelets, bow ring, clay lemon pie ring from a now non-existent Etsy shop, vintage bakelite rings, flea market shades and backpack and a very sad silk flower shoved in my dirty hair.
