For the holidays this year I loved the idea of a simple, elegant, classy christmas. This DIY Star Tree I doubled so that there's one for me and one for Joey - you might spy our DIY Cursive String Ornaments with our names in the trees too! These little potted trees fit perfectly on our mantle and the stars create a whimsical but elegant look ascending up off the tree and meeting above. I love the way it looks! What do you think?

Prep It:

• small potted holiday tree
• gold paper
• scissors
• marker
• frog tape (won't damage your walls!)

Do It!:

1. Draw star shapes on the back of the gold paper.
2. Cut out the stars.
3. Place them in your tree!
4. Double over the frog tape to stick the stars on your wall and enjoy!
