That's right – we made an outdoor bathroom! We found a PINK vintage whirlpool tub at a local salvage yard and created an outdoor oasis around it. It's a dream come true for us to be able to have a bathtub under the stars! This is a really dramatic and fun makeover and you are going to be absolutely blown away by the before and after transformation. Turning one person's trash into our treasure!

We transformed over 4 space in one video (watch above)! It's a Living Room, Dining Room, Kitchen and Patio all getting a start to finish makeover, all DIY and all on a budget! We took the before that was a colorful (not the good kind) mess and completely changed the space with a DIY painted marble countertop, on-trend DIY wood moulding wall paneling, and a 30 minute DIY Gallery Wall using thrift store purchases that anyone can do!

We made the small space in our guest house into a multi-purpose bedroom and home office suitable for both kids and adults! Sophisticated Fun! Following the neutral theme we established in the guest house we did a beachy striped makeover full of DIYs from an easy DIY rattan inspired lamp shade, to DIY picture rails and a big Ikea flip with a bookshelf DIY upgrade. We are also showing you how to style a convertible trundle bed to maximize sleeping area, but keeping it cute. What an exciting outdoor day! We are anxiously awaiting the arrival of a bunch of family and so we are pulling together our front porch lanai so that we all have a place to hang out! It's a dream come true to have a tropical paradise in your front yard, so we are going to show you how we decorate an outdoor space, and also give you 5 essential tips / decorating hacks for your outdoor space, plus Joey gets a bean bag finally! The color and creativity that decorating outside allows in a makeover is so magical and fun. We have a day to completely transform this bedroom into a dreamy, serene and minimalist dream bedroom. We do a super easy but super stunning DIY that anyone can do - plus we put decals on the ceiling!? The before and after of this bedroom makeover is beautiful and hopefully inspiring for your own bedroom makeovers. Soft fabrics, neutral color palette, linen bedding, and decals on the ceiling!

We decided to make our own minimalist custom side tables. A very simple DIY we did by cutting plywood into inter-locking pieces and using wood glue!

Upon clearing the room we found something under the carpet.... a hidden SAFE in the floor! We are yet to find out what's inside of it.

We have been doing our Mr. Kate Decorates on a Budget series for a few years, but never have we decorated a room for less than $150! But this time, with the help of the Dollar Store and lots and lots of DIYs, we were able to surprise a couple with a bedroom full of color, unique touches, and a mid century modern energy.

It's been a longtime dream of mine to take on the challenge of a teen bedroom for our Budget Makeover series, and today that has come to fruition! Teenage years are such an important time, and it was a delight to take this room from childhood into a space that can be grown into and grown with. Taking the trends of 2020 into consideration, we designed a room inspired by a minimalist color palette, hobbies of exercise and art, and of course, TikTok!
