We're only a short while away from welcoming Moon into the world, and before his grand arrival, I wanted to capture this fleeting, yet so significant moment of being pregnant with him. I researched maternity shoots before deciding on the aesthetic of ours, but I knew that for a baby as uniquely named as Moon, and for a couple of #creativeweirdos like we are, we needed to shake up the maternity shoot game with something out of this world!
This shoot is inspired by the space age, with lots of retro style, bright colors (that Salvation Mountain setting, though!), and a few cute nods to our son's namesake. It was shot by one of our favorite photographer extraordinaires, Taren Maroun!
