OOTD: beanies and black lace

MrKate_OOTD_BeaniesAndBlackLace-8text_x

Some days just call for ditching your hairbrush for a slouchy beanie. My friend, photographer Kat Borchart, knitted this beanie and sent it to me for a holiday gift - so cute, right!? I love the chunky knit paired with the delicate lace of this Keepsake top. This outfit would work really well with a waist length coat paired over top - like the one I wore in Styling Multiple Layers but since it's LA and our Winters are mild I got to go sans coat...and I'm not complaining!

PS Happy New Year's Eve! What are you all doing tonight to ring in 2015?! I think Joey and I are gonna keep it chill with an LA hang with some close friends. Nothing too crazy because NYE overwhelms me ; ) See you in da new year bloop!
