If you follow my instagram, it's no secret that I love cats - especially my two fuzzballs, Winston and Roxanne but really, I like all cats! Apparently, I also like this shirt, since it has appeared on my person in two different outfit formations this week - see it with some green pants here! I love cats and I love mixing prints so here is my rendition of Cat on Cat on Cat…print. Leopards and tigers and cartoon cats, oh my!
My rule with mixing prints is….just do it! I like to pair a fine print with a larger print - in this case the leopard pants are fine and more micro and the jacket tiger print is more spread out. Also, think about your proportions, in this case, leopard skinny jeans paired with a tiger jacket with shoulder pads have a refined silhouette so, the addition of a slouchy tank, blinged-out rhinestone necklace and chunky cuff, give the outfit a hip, daytime vibe. Heels can elevate (literally) any outfit and make your #MixedPrintMoment look intentional and not crazy lady…although I know I'm always walking that thin line. MEOW!
PS - it's Joey's bday! Happy bday Jooeeeyyy!
Yep, that's a hole in my bra! I don't mind a nice hole (that's what he said) - see how to get some intentional holes in our DIY Holey Shirt post.
I think this dog actually thought I was a cat and obviously reaaaally wanted me to smell his butt.
My cat prints met a bunny! This was totally coincidence but we happened upon a bunny graffiti while I was catwalking.
Give me some skin!
