DIY holiday candy acorns

These candy/cookie acorns are so cute for homemade holiday treats! Super easy to make with store-bought ingredients. You could whip up a batch of these and package them in a cute basket for a hostess gift or leave some out for Santa…I'm sure he likes kisses with his cookies!

See DIY Host/Hostess Gifts for more ideas for this holiday season.

Prep it:
  • vanilla wafers
  • chocolate kisses
  • peanut butter chips
  • cookie creme or frosting
DO IT!:
  1. put a small amount of frosting on the bottom of the wafer cookie and gently press the chocolate kiss to the frosting and wafer, creating a sandwich with the frosting at the center
  2. repeat the same process with one peanut butter chip on the top of the wafer cookie adhered with a tiny dot of frosting.
  3. let the frosting harden and enjoy! serve these cuties on a pretty platter or in a basket or cookie tin lined with parchment paper…super cute!
