ever since i was little, whenever i travel, i like to somehow decorate my hotel room. whether it means laying out my cosmetics or my jewelry just so, or in this case while in Maui, i used all my scarves to add a little color and interest around the room! it makes me feel more settled when i can have my little stamp on a space...
i used a tree branch i found on the ground as a TV decoration!
i put scarves around the lamps, on the back of the couch, draped at the foot of the bed and as a runner on the coffee table... oh, and i wore them too!
safety note: don't put scarves over the top of a lamp because that can be a fire hazard if it gets near the bulb. instead, tie them or wrap them around the outside of the shade and enjoy the color!
