Don't tag a wall, tag a shirt! Get inspired by street artists and wear your own graffiti with some fabric spray and an old piece of clothing that needs some sprucing! Use a # (hashtag) for a fun commentary on the new kind of tagging. #SHARE this video with and hashtag #mrkate! #ThankYou #CommentBelow
We pulled inspiration from shirts such as the one I wore in the 1BEF OOTD and the back of this shirt I wore in an OOTD has a cool stencil as well. This project is super easy and really fun to #customize with whatever you want to express about yourself, your style or your sense of humor! For more DIYs using t-shirts check out the upcycled t-shirt scarf, DIY floral print, Prep It:- paper - card stock works best
- scissors
- tape
- fabric spray paint (we used Simply Spray - from Jo-Ann Fabrics)
- t-shirt or whatever piece of clothing you want to upcycle and tag!
- cut out letters to use as your stencil
- using double sided tape (or tape folded over so it's sticky on both sides), tape the letters in your desired place on the t shirt
- shake up the fabric spray paint and evenly spray back and forth over the letters
- after 30 minutes, the paint should be dry and you can start to peel off the letters
- #tada! you're now ready to rock your shirtingly-chic #clothing #art!
