People! So excited to let you know that I've teamed up with Sprint to host a DIY phone case decorating party (pre Mother's Day) that you get to come to for FREE and get a case and supplies to decorate for FREE! No strings attached! If you're in the LA area, please come hang out and DIY with me, May 3rd from 11AM to 2PM at the Sprint Store: 364 South La Cienega Blvd. Los Angeles, 90048 -- 310.360.6727 (more details below)

If you want to come, please register here to reserve your spot, case and supplies. I know all of you aren't LA local so for those of you that can't come, watch the video above and see the how-to pics below so you can DIY along with us! At the event we will be doing phone cases like this along with more styles...Hope to see you there!

DIY Edgy Jeweled Phone Case

Prep It:

  • rhinestones in settings - I like to take apart old jewelry
  • clear or solid color phone case
  • jewelry glue (we used Dazzle Tac)
aKMA_0486 DO IT!:
  1. Lay out your stones on your phone case
  2. Glue them each in place and donezo!

DIY Chic Gem/Floral Phone Case

Prep It:

  • fabric rosettes - find them at your local craft store
  • rhinestones in settings
  • clear or solid color phone case

  1. Plan your layout with your flowers and rhinestones on the back of the case
  2. Apply glue to the back of each flower and jewel and set, let dry and donezo!

DIY Lace Stencil Phone Case

Prep It:

  • a strip of lace or lace trim that is long enough to cover your phone case
  • masking tape
  • clear or solid color phone case
  • a foam spouncer - flat foam brush you can get at your local craft store
  • acrylic paint in the color(s) of your choice
  • matte protective finishing spray - from your local craft store

  1. Lay the lace across the back of your phone case and tape it securely on the underside using your masking tape. Make sure it's nice and tight with no gaps.
  2. Dip your spouncer in your paint and liberally apply it to the back of your phone case over the lace. Use an up and down motion so you don't over saturate the lace and smudge the design but make sure you see that the paint has gotten through the holes of the lace in the more open areas of the fabric. Repeat with your other colors if you're using more than one. Let dry.
  3. Carefully remove the lace and spray your dry phone case with the matte protective spray - this will ensure that it won't chip. And done!

Hope you all can come to the event and if not, make one of these cases and let me know how it goes!
