Halloween: hallow's eve re-cap

Posted by MrKate on

how silly is this!? after all my DIYing i ended up needing to be in NYC over Halloween (to shoot Nate Berkus and take meetings) and i was determined to pack in a carry-on bag so i couldn't pack any costume stuff! so, in a pinch, joey and i scrounged our carry-ons for anything that would resemble a costume - thus was born the French Ballerina Cowboy and the Dead Basketball Player. my sister came by with a stockpile of make-up and we quickly made her into a Cubana Sucre Skull (don't google that, it doesn't exist) and all went out to see the Halloween Parade in the West Village… it was fun to see all the creative costumes including a scary Tiki Frankenstein who tried to kiss me.

what did you all do!? how did your costumes turn out? i'd love to see pics - send 'em to kate@mrkate.com
