heritage square

Posted by MrKate on

i'm taking a class in interior design at UCLA and one of my assignments was to do an historical analysis on a building in Los Angeles. there aren't many historical buildings in LA but there are some, including Heritage Square which has 7 restored Victorian buildings that have been moved to this one lot in Highland Park. i highly recommend paying a visit to Heritage Square! Joey and i went last Saturday, took a tour of the beautiful buildings, learned a lot, and then had a picnic!

the docent that gave us the tour was named Natalie and she was dressed in full, authentic Victorian clothes! that's her in the photo above, i'm the hussy next to her.

if you are at all interested in reading my Historical Analysis paper, i uploaded it here. there are some interesting facts about Victorian life and design. ; )
