mint leaf ice

a long while back i posted about mint leaf ice cubes - but now that we have a mint plant flourishing in our garden, i felt the need to remind myself and anyone else, about this fun and easy ice detail. i know it's not yet spring for many of you but this is a great, fancy-looking touch to your ice cubes. imagine a tall glass of iced tea or lemonade with some mint leaf ice cubes floating and when they melt - bonus! a slight taste of mint appears!

do it: - rinse a few mint leaves and place one in each ice cube section of an ice cube tray when you're filling with water. - freeze and done!
