nails of the week: yellow, mint and glitter pale palette

Posted by MrKate on

I love centering rooms and outfits around a color palette and my nails are no different! For this week's NOTW (nails of the week) I played with a muted palette of pale yellow and mint and then added some glitter colors in the same tone. It's kind of like this analogous color outfit of turquoise, mint and gold in a manicure! When planning a color palette manicure - you can test your palette by painting a sample swatch on a piece of paper but I like to use a nail tip fan to organize and visualize all my polish colors which makes it really easy to see how different colors work together. I like to paint my fingers in different color order on each hand but you could keep the same order or do whatever your mood dictates!
