my grandmother 'Nana' - Catherine 'Kay' Willette passed away this past weekend. i've been in Maine with my mom and her family prepping and attending the death ritual festivities. it's sad but it really puts things in perspective. life is short, yes, but it is also full, beautiful and always unique.
