we first found out about this all you can eat vegan buffet from Quarry Girl's blog - joey and were bummed because we thought it was a one time thing and that we missed it but hallelujah, it's here to stay! every Sunday, Savyon Cafe on Pico (6118 w. pico blvd. just east of la cienega on the south side of the street) hosts an all you can eat vegan buffet from 11:30 to 4 for only $8.99 per person!!!!
we went last sunday and it was so good! not your traditional brunch food, more mediterranean fare with hummus, veggies, pesto sandwiches on delicious homemade bread and a falafel bar! supposedly the food offerings changes every week and i think they could benefit from maybe a couple sweet baked options so you get a little bit more of a mediterranean breakfast vibe...but i also have a sweet tooth!
...one of these sundays coming up you LA peeps have to check out Savyon - there is outdoor seating and the overflow gets to sit in the garden next door!
