so say what you will about her but i am a big fan of Bethenny Frankel. you may know her from the Real Housewives of New York (one of my guilty pleasures) and more recently she starred in her own Bravo reality show Bethenny's Getting Married? chronicling her wedding and the birth of her first child.
i would name Bethenny amongst my mentors, right up there with Martha Stewart (yes, you can have mentors you've never met, Martha said so). i am really impressed with how she's branded herself as an authority on healthy living, through her best selling books, workout DVD (one of my fave yoga DVDs these days), products, TV shows, etc. i also love how her personality and sense of humor are an essential part of her brand. she is hilarious! so my type of girl with her dry, sarcastic and self-deprecating sense of humor. i just want to hang out with her, eat healthy food and say fuck every the word while laughing my tuckus off. i finally happened upon a stock of her Skinny Girl Margarita which i've been wanting to try for forever. you should be able to find it at liquor and wine shops. it's all natural and sweetened with agave instead of sugar...i'm guessing the ingredients are similar to my Macro Margarita recipe. Joey and i enjoyed some last night over ice and it was bomb! writing this in the airport as i'm off to be a bridesmaid for the second time this year in Joey's sister Jennifer's wedding! i'll be posting from the midwest. later alligator!
