essential summer sandals

Posted by MrKate on

Sandals are a Summer essential and this Summer I'm wearing these 3 pairs on rotation. I like that I have a flat pair, a platform pair and a pair with a little heel. There's also pattern and embellishments, which I love. Stay tuned for some OOTD's incorporating my summer sandals.

You can try styling your sandals with socks and maybe glam up the socks like these DIY Jeweled Socks!

Here's a little tour of my personal sandal picks...

These Isabelle Marant 'Lester' sandals I've been coveting and recently found a sample size pair for 60% off! Sometimes it pays to be sample sized. I love the gladiator strap paired with the 90's blocky heel and of course, studs! These will be my go-to dressier sandals but are also totally comfy for daytime…all these really need is some cut-off shorts and a comfy vintage tee.

Joey gave me these Zigi Soho sandals for my birthday last month. When I opened them he said, "They're just a barf of stuff so I thought you'd like them"…he knows me too well! I love all the beads and the dangling charms, easy to wear with any color and mix prints! These are my go-to flat sandals for the Summer, from pool-side to day time running around.

These gloriously weird things are geometric platform sandals by Sergio Rossi. My sister gave me these little monsters for my birthday (apparently I needed sandals!) and I love them so much. They're totally bazaar but go with everything and are ridiculously comfortable, while also giving me a much needed two extra inches. These are my go-to for everything from plane rides to business meetings to vacation adventures and beyond!

A few of my past summer sandal ensembles...

I'm excited to keep wearing my new summer sandals! What are your favorite sandals for the Summer months?
