sunday afternoon in los angeles

Griffith Park, home to the Griffith Observatory, is one of the largest parks in the United States and the other weekend we decided to explore what it had to offer. the never-ending line to simply gain entry into the observatory forced us to wander to other parts of the park. after driving away from the crowds, we found a quiet spot to sit and look out over Los Angeles.

pulling over on the side of the road and aimlessly wandering can lead you to find some of the coolest places - try it!

hiking is great exercise, just remember to push off your heels when going up hill to work your glutes (butt) and not your quad muscles - we want perky butts not big thighs!
