mulberries are in season! these caterpillar-look-alike berries are my absolute favorite! they have a warm sweetness with no pesky seeds like raspberries or blackberries. i picked some up at my local farmer's market and totally gorged myself on their sweet sweet flesh…ewww. but for serious, get some! mulberries remind me of being in junior high and climbing the one mulberry tree by the high school parking lot and spying on the sneaky cigarette toking teens by the dumpsters while we quietly munched on fresh picked berries… sweet times!
