this rain in LA has me happy for our perpetual drought conditions, but in a rather melancholic mood because of the lack of sun. i don't know how people do it in parts of the world where its light for only a couple hours during the day, i need my happy light!
here are the last of the photos from my dress-up days with Tess as the photographer. the photo behind me is a giant one in my dad's dining room of Piazza San Marco in Venice Italy....ahhh, to be in italy right now! i love this photo because it's so large you can really study the minutiae of the moment captured, like the pigeon in mid-flight, or maybe mid-poop!?
