so very excited to announce...
#1. my partnership with YouTube's DIY mecca channel Threadbanger! watch the above video for all the details but in a nut-shell: i am one of 5 contributors to the Threadbanger channel. the network of crafters/stylists/DIY-extraordinaires is made up of: Corrine from Craftovision, Meg from Meg Allan Cole Crafts, Whitney from Whitney Sews and Sammy from Sammy Davis Vintage, and of course me, Mr. Kate!
we all upload DIY videos to our own channels and then contribute 1 or 2 videos a month to the Threadbanger channel... way cool! make sure to subscribe to all the other ladies (and me) and stay tuned for all our videos. i will be re-posting all of mine here in blog posts too!
#2 the Threadbanger's videos are also being featured on YouTube's Live Runway channel - which live-streams all of the runway shows from Fashion Week, Spring 2012 (going on now) and also features our fashion week inspired videos! you can watch my Fashion Week inspired videos here, on my YouTube channel or head over to Live Runway to watch all the featured videos from all the crafty ladies!
a note about remembering 9/11: it's so sad watching all the remembrances of that horrible day all over tv today. but let's look forward and remember everyone who was lost. check out Smiley's post on the 9/11 memorial waterfalls here.
