here's a sneak peek of the progress of my spring re-do (check out the inspiration board here) - obviously we at Mr. Kate are crazy about our wall stripes! i wanted an organic feel to the stripes so i opted to hand-paint them without the use of tape guides, etc. i'm pretty happy with how the pattern turned out however the colors aren't quite what i wanted - i wanted a bit more teal and gold as opposed to blue and yellow, but hopefully the surrounding colors will gear them there.
