Conceptually, this design should have been a piece of cake! The couple we were designing for totally agreed on aesthetics (80% midcentury modern, 20% farmhouse), and they pointed out my living room as a dream room they both loved!
Despite their design style being 100% compatible and close to home, this was still one of the most intense makeovers we've done! The back house they lived in was so bizarrely laid out that it took bold moves and a nontraditional approach to bring it all together.
