Wow, this episode is a very special one! Not only were we able to makeover TWO rooms, but we were able to use the power of interior design to help a family find healing and a new beginning before their baby comes!
After losing multiple pregnancies, Adriana and Felipe needed help refreshing their nursery to welcome their long-awaited baby girl (who is due in a week from today!) Also, we threw in a bedroom makeover *and* a baby moon for this special couple to make this the amazing experience that they deserve!

Since this nursery is for Adriana and Felipe's rainbow baby, I wanted to honor their journey by painting a rainbow mural in the room!
Say hello to Anne! We were contacted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation about her wish to meet us, and it was such an incredible opportunity to have her fly out from The Netherlands to help us out with this makeover!
Anne, who is 19 and has a strong passion (and natural gift, I can attest!) for interior design helped us build the Flower Wall Art for Baby Angela’s room *and* helped me figure out decor for both of the rooms! We’re so grateful to have met her and for her help!
Now, onto the master bedroom!
I wanted to create a very serene atmosphere in their room, so I took inspiration from beachy textures and soft neutral colors for the design.
Adriana and Felipe loved their rooms! It was an honor to give them a relaxing and cozy space for this next chapter in their lives. But! They had a surprise in store for us, too!
Aja Brown, the Mayor of Compton, came and rewarded Joey and I with a Certificate of Acknowledgement for the work we did for Adriana and Felipe. We are beyond honored! Thank you!
