As a jewelry designer, and as fate would have it a jewelry wearer as well, I really enjoy finding new and exciting ways to combine the pieces, creating looks that are entirely Mr. Kate but each uniquely different. The Cadeau Clip-On Earrings are one of my favorite pieces from collections of yore. There are so many ways to wear them (I've detailed three DIY-able ways, in particular) but one of my favorites is as a feminine charm on the Double Horn Wraparound Choker from the new Relic Collection. The masculine of the thin, black faux-leather straps in contrast to the hyper girly metallic bows is pure magic.

To get this look: simply wrap the Double Horn Wraparound Choker around your neck three times, leaving tails in the back to tie. (Note: the ends will fall down your back a few inches, so if you're wearing your hair up, tie them in a cute knot and it's a bonus back accessory!) Then just take one Cadeau Clip-On Earring and affix it to the front of your choker. It's possible to do this on a traditional choker or piece of velvet ribbon, but make sure the necklace is sturdy, so the earring doesn't weigh it down or fall off!

I styled my newly Clip-on Cadeau-ed choker with some loose wavy hair, a chambray shirt, and a western-inspired hat, giving it a modern, coquettish cowgirl vibe. But it would also look fantastic with a top knot and cozy sweater, a floral day dress, or even with something tight and sparkly for a night out! UGH, basically everything.MRKATE_Cadeau_Chocker_DIY_OOTD (34 of 52)MRKATE_Cadeau_Chocker_DIY_OOTD (42 of 52)
