I made this whimsical, fabric scrap garland for Fourth of July, but really, it can be made with any colors to celebrate any holiday or festivity!

Prep It:

  • different colored fabric (I used cotton canvas and linen)
  • scissors
  • twine

Do It!:

  1. Make a cut in your fabric about 2 to 3 inches wide and tear along the width of the fabric bolt.
  2. Tie the fabric strips to your twine.
  3. Tie the twine ends up to your overhang (or tape up to the ceiling) - You may need to trim your strips of fabric at this point.
  4. Repeat until you feel you have enough garlands to create a full and lively scene!
