With Halloween coming up I got excited to style costume looks out of my existing wardrobe using the Third Eye Eyepatch from The Elsie Collection as the consistent accessory to inspire each look. Everything I'm wearing is from my own closet so I hope this post inspires you to see your personal wardrobe through the Halloween lens and create a costume look! I went for Pirate, Gypy and Flapper looks using the eyepatch as an eyepatch, necklace and headband, respectively. See how I styled the looks below and let me know what you think in the comments section! xo.
- For my Pirate costume I tucked the front of a gauzy black dress into a pair of striped shorts with a slouchy flannel over. I tied a silk scarf on my head under a felt hat and wore the Third Eye Eyepatch as...an eyepatch! On my feet I wore knit thigh highs slouched down around my knees with my brown Frye boots. Layered Mr. Kate necklaces, bracelets and tons of earrings and ear cuffs rounded out my pirate's booty.
- For my Gypsy costume I wore a floral maxi skirt with a lace top, wide black belt and black lace up boots. I used a printed cotton scarf as my giant gypsy shawl and took my head situation to a whole new level with the Goddess Necklace worn as a headpiece. The Third Eye Eyepatch glowed with all its seeing power on my chest next to the Voyager 'spoon and fork' Necklace and the V Hoop and Geo and Spike earrings worn on the same ear with two Treasure Ear Cuffs. I added some messy braids to my hair and topped off the look with Lime Crime's Wicked lip stain.
- For my third look I dressed as a 1920's Flapper. I wore the Third Eye Eyepatch as a headband with my hair tucked under and pinned to look like a flapper bob hairdo. I wore a drop waist white slip dress, almond toe nude pumps and carried a gold beaded clutch (for my trick of treat candy!). Simple makeup and the Marquis Crystal necklace and a stack of Treasure Cuffs complete this classy look.
