figueroa hotel

the Figueroa Hotel in downtown LA - we went there for our friend Dan Levy's bday. the decor is a mix of moroccan, turkish, native american, aztec, etc. the whole place has a very cozy and ethnic vibe. the bar is cute by the pool with moroccan lanterns and covered beds. i thought one of the most unique touches was the use of colorful tapestry as a wainscoting detail in the hotel rooms. they just tacked it up! very eclectic and cool, definitely check out this hotel if you're hanging out in downtown.
