i spent the day sketching out my collections and figuring out all the little details like chain, finish, etc. above are some of my sketches for my "objects" collection, "happy wrinkles", and my large screw piece. then the mail brought some more treats which were the art stamps of my Mr. Kate name and logo, in small and large, to stamp on my jewelry boxes, all over a piece of white paper and apparently, one of my purses...i couldn't help myself, i'm a branding maniac!!
some facets of my upcoming collection, that i'm really excited about, is the introduction of blackened silver (seen here in my black cereal ring) and the quarter finger ring. i think the gun-metal silver is just the coolest looking thing, i'm already obsessed with matte finish metal jewelry, so then to bring in the element of matte black, it just POPS off any skin tone, sooooo excited! the screw quarter finger ring is super swell, its adjustable but meant to wear above your middle knuckle on any finger, so funkylicious! stay tuned because i will be listing these two pieces and everything from my collection in my shop here soon!
