gold and green vintage sunnies for summer

Posted by MrKate on

i got these vintage sunglasses this weekend from Reform School in Silverlake. i think they're from the late '70s. i love the shape and the gold detailing at the top. the detailing is an actual metal plate that is screwed on to the plastic frame of the sunglasses. i also love the dark green arms of the glasses, such a great contrast with the yellow/gold of the frames. the lenses are tinted lightly enough that i can keep them on, while in and out of indoor rooms, without looking like a complete toolshed.
