A few weeks ago I posted DIY Lace Makeup for Halloween and a few of you commented on the post and Instagram asking about my eye makeup. I'm taking the opportunity to tell you about the look by showing you the eyeshadow palette I used to get the matte/shiny/green/charcoal/bronze look. This magnificent BareMinerals Ready Eyeshadow Collection palette was given to me at Beauty Con and it's quickly become my favorite for eyeshadow colors… there are so many! I couldn't find this particular palette to buy online, but all the colors I used for the look are sold individually on their site or you could use similar colors that you already have in your bag o' tricks. I really enjoy layering the colors, starting with a light color by my brow bone and inner corners and layering darker and darker shades over for gradient look. I also like playing with a mix of mattes and metallics.

This was the original look from DIY halloween lace make-up - ignore the scary eyebrows.
- I started at the brow bone and inner corners with a pale, matte lavender color called Azure Iris and blended it in really well.
- Next , using the same large eyeshadow brush, I put a matte charcoal shade called Amnesia all over my upper lid, starting at the crease and blending down to my upper lash line. I also used a smudge brush to put this color under my lower lash line starting at the outer edge and working towards the middle of my eyes.
- Then I added a metallic layer of shimmery green Hit Single on the inner part of my upper lid and shimmery bronze color Cognac at the inner part of my lower lash line. I finished off with cat-eye black liner and a half row of false lashes, both of which you can see me apply in this Daily Makeup Routine video.
