we're in Maui! i'm so so happy to be here! i love Maui. every time i'm here i relax immediately. i must live in the tropics one day.
we just got here so we're settling in. for me that meant taking my plane scarf and tying it around my head and decorating our hotel room with all the rest of my scarves... i brought, ummmm, 8 of them. i have a tendency to "spruce up" hotel rooms... more on that later.
we watched the sunset on the black lava rocks and there were the most beautiful black barnacles that looked like clusters of black beads!
okay, off to dinner... i need another mai tai!
