self-shot-shoot 101: have 2-day-dirty hair and have walked around in blazing mid-day heat so you're nice and shiny... thankfully there's no smell-a-vision!

Ali and i went to
the melrose trading post flea market (one of my favorite places to go on a sunday) and strolled the goodies. i ended up buying 2 things: 1. an oversized zebra-head tassel (for my sister's apartment makeover that i'm going to do in a week in nyc, i'll post pics)...totally random... and 2. ali and i both bought the same hugemungous talon pendant from one of my favorite vendors who casts things out of old bullet casings. this talon pendant was cast from an actual owl's foot that he found... tres macabre! but i love. right now it's on a black cord but i'll probably put it on an antique brass chain or a piece of leather. the other necklace i'm wearing is part of my "Happy Wrinkles" collection that i will be debuting in my shop soon!!!
in pics i'm wearing: jean shorts that i bleached (with spray bleach bathroom cleaner then left in the sun...wash before wearing!), a vintage tee that i originally bought for my bf but it was miniature on him... so of course it's loose on me cuz i'm a munchkin, street-bought red sunglasses, new fave rave shoes from
f21, my bow bracelet,
love loop ring, blob ring,
twig stack rings (in silver),
twig bangles and squiggle bangle as well as vintage rings, ruby bracelet and silver spoon thumb ring, then my own experimental hemp and safety pin bracelets. phew! now, unlike Narcissus, i can leave the beauty of my own reflection and go wash my stinky armpits!
