this is kind of a Spring-esque outfit but sometimes you just need to brighten up your Winter wardrobe (it's easier when you live in So Cal like me). i love that this shirt has little puffed sleeves, i think it makes it more flattering. this purse i got at a thrift store ages ago and i love the worn in look and carved brass clasp.
it's the Year Of The Snake so the Mr. Kate Mummy Snake bangle is the perfect go-to bracelet this year, i've been wearing mine nearly every day along with the Vertebrae ring that i won't take off i love it so.
oh, and the book is a vintage book i got at the flea market. it's the "World's Greatest Literature" - i should probably actually read it one day instead of just posing with it... what a novel idea! haaaa, get it!?
