OOTD: Jedi Chic

No spoilers for those of you who haven't seen Star Wars (which, btw, if you haven't — it's actually quite good and way girl power friendly), but those Jedis have got powers far beyond their mind-control, lightsaber-wielding and force...fulness. They've got mad style skills. I mean, was there anyone who left The Force Awakens and didn't want to rock Rey's triple buns (which I have a tutorial for!) or abandon their skinny jeans and tees for white drapey robes and edgy leather accessories?

Funnily enough, before I even saw the movie, I rocked a mighty similar look when visiting Joey's family in Florida over the winter break. There is always a way to infuse that Skywalker-spirit into your daywear without going full on costume. A white gauzy romper, leather belt, and statement gladiator sandals were all it took! Plus, this outfit was so comfortable and easy to move around in, I felt ready for an impromptu confrontation with the dark side if it happened to arise!
