Each vacation is a story — a story of a place, a story of its culture, and most excitingly, the stories you get to tell of your time there. When Joey and I traveled to Cuba, we came back with quite a few stories in the form of a travel vlog, but I also wanted to share the special style stories that I put together while in the country.
As I explained when sharing my packing tips, I like to dress to a theme associated with my destination, so while in Cuba I dressed with a vintage flair while still maintaining modern silhouettes. It's a story of the very new ability for Americans to travel to Cuba, a country in many ways still stuck in the 1960s. In this outfit, I had fun playing with this contradiction in a more formal manner. Pairing heels with the headscarf really brought that Cuban touch to a classic semi-formal look. Check out the outfit deets below!
