Ask Mr. Kate: outside the basket Easter decor

Posted by MrKate on

Question: Haley asks: Hi Kate! Do you have any suggestions for creative ways to decorate for Easter? I love animals and quirky things! Thank you!! Answer: This question came in just in time for Easter. Thanks Haley for the creative motivation! Fortunately we have the perfect example of fun and creative Easter decor because Emma's (Mr. Kate team member) mom, Lynn, decorates to the nines, I mean tens, when it comes to decorating for any holiday. Let's get inspired for some outside the basket Easter decor!...

If you have a potted plant, try nestling some bright, plastic eggs in the leaves.

An accent basket makes the perfect nest for a ton of colorful eggs.

Egg ornaments are perfect to hang on a chandelier.

Look at this family of bunnies in the garden!

Uh oh, giant, drunk bunny is belly-up to the home bar!

These bunnies are big enough to sit at the dining table and apparently smart enough to play a game of poker!

Some small bunny figurines can go anywhere - like the bookshelf by your vast range of cookbooks!

This chocolate bunny is so stylish! Who is she!? And who made her DIY bow tie!?

Hope this got you inspired to think beyond the bunny hole for your Easter decor! Share your ideas below!
