When Sofia told me she was planning a photoshoot with her Swedish songstress friend Lina (She is the ethereal chanteuse from Violet Days behind the Relic Lookbook Video melody) I screamed, "CAN I STYLE HER!?!?!?!?" Ok, I didn't scream, but I was trés excited because Lina has the cutest look that reminds me so much of 60s icons like Goldie Hawn, Twiggy and the like and playing dress-up with vintage clothes, hair and makeup has been one of my favorite things since I could use my thumbs.
The clothes are mostly vintage finds I've curated and collected over the years, and I was inspired to pair them with the edgy femininity of the Mr. Kate accessories and BeautyMarks.
My muses were women who represented their era, yet defied definition by being timeless. I believe there's nothing more gorgeous than smashing other people's expectations and living by your own rules instead. Especially if you get to wear a full set of lashes along the way.
