yesterday i went to Ikea with my buddy Ben Romans (keyboard player and songwriter in the same band as my bf). he just moved here from the east coast and needed to get everything for his cute new 2 bedroom place that he's sharing with Joe Guese. we made a killing and spent 6 hours there and walked out with 6 carts full of stuff for their blank slate place! today Joey and i helped put together some of the goodies (i'll post after pics soon) and then we came home and i made steamed broccoli (from the farmer's market) with fresh garlic, breadcrumbs and olive oil and some portobello mushroom ravioli with organic homemade turkey bolognese...yum!
