No matter how many rooms you design or episodes of OMG We're Coming Over you make, there's a universal truth when prepping for such an event: you will have to improvise.
When I was prepping for Joslyn's and Andrea's places, there were sequential matters of missing rugs, and recently, when planning for a very Patrick Starrr-worthy Beauty Room makeover, it was the chairs that didn't end up arriving on time, prompting me to hit the streets of LA with my vlog camera looking for some last minute replacements.
But before you get to that — thank you all so much for helping us reach 600,000 subscribers on YouTube! As promised, I delivered our next $1000 check to Alexandria House, a transitional residence for women and children in Los Angeles. It's so rewarding to be able to share our success and your guys' support with others!

This is my shopping board I built with the items I was buying online as well as some photo representations of things I was getting in person so I could make sure it would all work together.
This is the modular closet system I sketched then built using the Ikea Pax system and their online tool to make sure I was getting the right size units for the space.
