If you live in Los Angeles, near Los Angeles, or are at all familiar with our famously bright and balmy weather, you probably also know what happens when the infrequent rain shower does descend upon our fair city ... shit gets messy.
In the case of our freshly demolished backyard and driveway, the dirt that was intended to be covered by a new coat of cement was instead flooded by a few days of rain, creating pretty much a literal river around our home. Luckily we were still able to get some progress made on staining the fence, our garage's new storage attic, and Joey's dream: a massive muddy slip and slide.
