You all know how important style is to me as a tool of self expression, which is why I just cant get enough of dressing up ... other people! True life: I love playing stylist, helping other people get inspired, get dressed, and get glammed up to their full potential.
So when comments and questions just kept coming in on social media and YouTube about plus size style tips, I couldn't resist the opportunity to pull together some looks for Sarah, our lovely editor (who you might recognize from Office Goals!) Plus size style is such an important part of the fashion community, and while there are different obstacles, which Sarah and I discuss in the video, there are just as many ways to look and feel your best. Don't stress about what is deemed "flattering," instead find pieces that help you celebrate features that you love (or just the whole package!)
Look 1: Everyday Edgy
Though Sarah is a big fan of black, (what fashionista isn't?!) she had never tried out a romper before. But what better for an everyday grab-and-go look than a comfy, cute, and totally celebratory one piece! Throw on an edgy pleather jacket for a little extra cool (and protection from cool weather), some black booties, and bam!! Sidewalk is your runway, girl!

Look 2: Fierce, yet Fun!
A lot of the questions I got from my plus size creative weirdos were about finding ways to make your outfits fun, especially in a versatile way. Every girl has got a go-to dress that she can wear from work to a date night to drinks with friends, and this fuschia/purple one was just perfect for Sarah! I loved the ruching and tie in the front of the dress, which gave it a figure-celebrating effect. Then just some cute shoes, a pop of color purse, a top knot to ... top it all off! Make this look more cold-weather appropriate with tights, tall boots and a trench coat.

Look 3: Sexy and Sophisticated
No matter your shape or size, every lady has curves, and those curves deserve to be celebrated!! To give Sarah her sexy lady look, I paired a loose white blouse with a pencil skirt. Playing loose and baggy pieces off structured ones is a tried-and-true trick of styling, and it works just the same with plus size looks! Then a fantastic (and just a little bit flirtatious) necklace for the necessary bling, and you're gonna be too hot to trot!

Look 4: Layered Winter Warrior
As cozy as they make us feel, warm winter layers can run the risk of leaving us looking bulky and bundled. So when I was styling Sarah for a cold weather ensemble, it was imperative to once again play with proportions. This time, I chose wide-legged pants and a form-fitting dress tucked in like a shirt (convertible clothes hack!), topped with a loose cape for some texture and fun, faux fur touch.
