design inspo: decorating with coffee beans

Posted by MrKate on

Just because Earth Day was last Monday, doesn't mean we want to stop reducing, reusing and recycling! I've used coffee to stain/age book pages for a DIY decoupaged coffee table, but the coffee beans themselves have many uses for home decor...plus, they smell good!

  • beans + tea light candles + vintage ash tray = coffee table centerpiece! (love the map on this ashtray Kathryn got from her dad also see decorate with globes if you like old maps!)

  • fill a mason jar and keep your makeup brushes organized and ready to go! I love this for a vanity area.
  • another tea light idea: fill a tea cup (or Turkish coffee cup above!) with beans and don't leave out the saucer...put a candle in center and spread beans around the outside.
