Being all about the creative fusion of opposites, I tend to LOVE outfits that play with contrast. Feminine and masculine, bright and dark, and today — beachy and business casual!
I recently visited my sister Tess at her oceanfront home in Malibu to decorate her patio, and while I was there I couldn't resist frolicking in her sandy backyard (but not before I took a run through her closet!) What resulted was this super SoCal outfit, all about the use of a neutral color palette to tie in styles you don't normally see together, like a sheer sweatshirt, wide-brim hat, and spiky white pumps.
