Lily Marston’s Cozy, Gray-Toned Living & Dining Room for OMG WE ARE COMING OVER

In life, it’s good to always be challenging your comfort zone … that’s how the best adventures happen! But, at home, your comfort zone is not only something to be upheld, it’s something to be celebrated.

After having the *most* fun OMGWACO-ing with Joslyn Davis two years ago, we continued our Clevver obsession by making over Lily Marston’s new digs! She wanted cozy, comfortable and cute! A living room that was more of a lounging room, if you will, with a monochromatic color-scheme of grays and whites. With some DIYs for the walls, a feast of PB Apartment finds, and that #creativeweirdo magic, we transformed this empty, beige room into an effortlessly beautiful oasis.

Watch above and check out the before and after pics, and our PB Apartment shopping picks below!

Instead of a gallery wall, I chose to give Lily’s living room wall an extra layered look with these side-by-side Olivia 2-Tiered Wall Mounted Shelves. The sleek nickel finish allowed me to play around with subtle mixed metallics by using gold and copper accessories on the shelves.

You can’t help the lighting your apartment comes with, but one thing most people don’t think to do is change it out! Replacing the dated light in Lily’s dining area with this McCarthy 3-Light Glass Pendant instantly improved the lighting of the area and gave it a modern, cozy vibe.

It doesn’t get more apartment friendly than a convertible dining room table with storage, like this Shayne Round Drop-Leaf Table, and a faux Succulent Wall that you don’t have to worry about getting enough sun or water!

Coffee tables are one of the most multi-purpose items in a home, but in an apartment, where you need to be conscious that every piece has earned its space, this Kaplan Global Trunk Coffee Table goes above and beyond! It provides storage, a great surface for books or blankets, *and* the top lifts up to act as a table! As if we needed more reasons to never leave the sofa.

Speaking of sofas, it’s a dream to be able to design the layout of your own so it can fit your space perfectly. Instead of going the custom route, opting for a sectional, like this Soma Brady Slope Arm Sectional, means you never have to stress about placement if you want to rearrange your room or if you’re moving! The sectional works in almost any way you want it to!

Annd, she loved it! Thank you to Pottery Barn for sponsoring this post!
