Here's something people won't tell you often: what's on the outside matters too. The outside of your house, I mean.
Luckily for me, I happen to have a mother who is something of a self-taught arborist/ landscaper ... and even more luckily, she was in town right when we were ready to start making moves in our recently uprooted backyard. With some major features, like our big Sago Palm, already present and lots of possibilities (grapes! lavender!) to add, I'm excited to get some of these pretty things planted so our backyard can be complete!
